The renovation process
Once you have purchased your property, the responsibility for assistance moves to The Languedoc House (France). This is your ‘on the ground’ pro-active liaison with architects, builders, craftsmen and that inevitable paperwork that must be completed.

It ensures quotes are produced and agreed prior to work commencing, that schedules are made and adhered to and that work is completed on-time, on-budget and beyond your expectations.

Once a renovation or restoration project is agreed and underway, you get regular emails following each site visit, usually with photographs, allowing you to chart and follow the progress of the ongoing development.

You also get the comfort of work being checked against cost estimates and work checked against final invoices.

New regulations
On 1st October 2007 a new set of interlocking planning application regulations and forms were introduced across France. At the same time a new national procedural reform was introduced.

The Languedoc House can advise on the correct and relevant paperwork you will undoubtedly need for your restoration or renovation project.

When must you have – and – when do you not need an Architect. Which is the correct form to use. How long will each application take? How many copies of what are required with each application.

This service is available to all, even if you did not buy your property through The Languedoc House.
